At NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) we’re really clear that engagement with patients, members of the public and the people we work with from other organisations is really important.
That’s why we regularly seek the views of local people on services we are developing, designing and reshaping so we know it’s what local people need.
Doncaster’s first ever joint health and social care commissioning strategy was published in April 2019 and includes a series of clear commitments for NHS Doncaster CCG and Doncaster Council to work much more closely together to provide services.
In addition, the regional South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw five year plan includes key pieces of work that will take place across the region to ensure people can access services easily and equitably.
Both plans we’re developed in conjunction with local people and continue to be implemented by going back to local people to check their thoughts and views, as well as ensuring that services are designed together.
We regularly welcome feedback, thoughts and views. So if you have a question, comment or something else you’d like to share with us, please do so by commenting on this post or using the Contact Us form.
