NHS COVID-19 App launched

Similar to pubs and restaurants and other venues, the NHS in Doncaster, including local practices across the borough are likely to introduce QR codes for certain areas on practice premises to make it easier to test and trace patients, colleagues and visitors, if required. Image of the new COVID-19 app

If you don’t have a smart phone, your details will be taken.

Some practices however already have internal systems in place to track movement of people in and out of their practice so may not use the QR code system; if they do, it is important to know how it works. Using the NHS COVID-19 app and QR is a national requirement to help control the spread of Coronavirus.

NHS organisations and many others are doing this in case someone contracts COVID-19 in that area, everyone who has visited that area can be traced easily.

This system and the app launched on Thursday 24 September 2020.

To use it simply download the app
