Join our Annual General Meeting 2021
Doncaster CCG will be holding its Annual General Meeting online for a second time as Covid-19 considerations over social distancing continue to make large face-to-face public meetings difficult.
In fact, the coronavirus will be a main focus of this year’s AGM as we look back at the impact it’s had on our services, our people and our partners between April 2020 and March 2021.
Everyone is invited to join the meeting which will be held over the Zoom platform and streamed live online on Thursday 23 September from 3pm to 5pm.
Our AGM looks at the work of the past financial year, which you can read about in our 2020/21 Annual Report & Accounts
We’re encouraging patients and the public to submit questions via email or over the telephone beforehand. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org, marking your message Question for the AGM or you can call 01302 566300 and we’ll take a note of your question.
CCG Clinical Chair and local GP Dr David Crichton said: “We’re looking back on an incredible year not just in the CCG but across all the partners we work with in Doncaster. We’ve faced issues we’ve never experienced before and risen to lots of new challenges including the massive Covid-19 vaccination programme which continues today.
“I want to encourage the public and our patients to get involved in the AGM by watching it live and submitting questions in advance. We will try to answer as many as possible on the day and those we don’t manage to get to we will publish them online afterwards.”
CCG Chief Officer Jackie Pederson said: “Our AGM is an important event allowing the CCG, its partners and stakeholders across the Doncaster region to reflect on the previous year’s challenges and achievements and thank everyone for their support and great work.
“Like organisations across the world, Covid means we’ve had to rely on electronic communications more and more, so this year’s AGM is being held online for the second year running. As well as our invited guests who will join the meeting directly, I do hope as many people as possible will watch and listen online and we look forward to hearing and answering your questions.”
Members of the public and patients can watch the AGM streaming live on the day through a link that will be posted here when the meeting starts at 3pm.
