Latest EEC review of Intermediate care

November 2020

  • At the November 2020 EEC meeting, additional engagement progress was talked about in addition to the work that’s taken place in the template above
  • It was confirmed that NHS Doncaster CCG has invested heavily in supporting Care Homes to ensure residents can keep in contact with their loved ones and family during the Coronavirus pandemic. The national steer from NHS England and NHS Improvement was a ratio of one iPad to 40 residents. In Doncaster, the ratio is one iPad to 16 residents – this means each Care Home has more iPads to use to maintain this vital contact, as well as ensuring that clinical and multi-disciplinary team appointments and meetings to discuss patient care can take place.
