PATIENTS are being invited to find out more about how the NHS works in Doncaster by the organisation that plans, pays for and monitors the services they use.
NHS Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding its Annual General Meeting in the restaurant at the town’s Keepmoat Stadium on Thursday 28 September, 2017, starting at 6.30pm.
Local GP and Chair of the CCG, Dr David Crichton, says: “We’ll be reviewing our work over the 12 months to the end of March 2017 and explaining how we spent around £500 million of the local NHS budget on health services for Doncaster people.
“This is a great opportunity for local people to come and hear what we have to say but, importantly, also put their questions to us at a special session during the meeting.
“There will be copies of our annual report to take away and we are hosting a market place for other health, social care and voluntary sector partners to showcase what they are working on. Tea and coffee will be available from 6pm, when there will be nearly 30 information stands for members of the public to browse round.”
