Please join us on Thursday 12 December, 2019 at 5.30pm at St George’s Minster in Doncaster for a special Christmas carol service to give thanks for the NHS.
This event is open to anyone and everyone who wants to attend and say a special ‘thank you’ to the NHS in Doncaster, including NHS staff and volunteers, patients, members of the public and local voluntary and community organisations. This is a free service and open to everyone.
There will be a collection for the work the Minster does supporting members of Doncaster’s homeless community. You are also invited to bring new socks, men’s underwear and toiletries with you to the Minster for this work.
Singing carols and re-telling the Christmas story is an uplifting way to start the festive season and we hope as many people as possible will come along and fill the Minster to enjoy some seasonal cheer. Readings will be given by representatives from the three health trusts and local partners and the hour long service will include all your favourite Christmas carols.
There is no need to book, please just turn up on the day. Doors open from 5pm and everyone is very welcome to attend. Please download and display our poster
The Minster is located on Church Way, Doncaster, DN1 1RD, near the A630 on Trafford Way. Parking is available at several local points, including Market Place, St George’s and Friar Gate.
