NHS Doncaster CCG scoops Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation

NHS Doncaster CCG has been successful in achieving Cyber Essentials Plus – and to top it off, we’re just one of six CCGs across the country to be accredited.

Cyber Essentials helps us to guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates our commitment to cyber security.  The accreditation will reassure partners, stakeholders and members of the public that we are working to secure IT against cyber attack, promise businesses that we have cyber security measures in place and shows the public our cyber security level.

The National Cyber Security Centre provides details of those who have achieved CE+.

NHS Digital offered NHS organisations the opportunity to access a range of specialist services to help manage cyber risk and recover in the event of an incident. The NHS Digital Data Security Centre Cyber Security Support Model aim was to increase the maturity of our cyber security resilience in line with best practice.  This comprised of:

  • GCHQ Board Level Training
  • On-site Assessment
  • Technical Remediation
  • Cyber Operational Readiness Support.

Further information on the process and model is available on the NHS Digital website.
