We have regular updates on our patient and public engagement activity at our Engagement and Experience Committee (EEC), which is a sub-committee of the CCG’s Governing Body and is chaired by the Lay Member for Patient and Public Involvement.
At each meeting we include an update from our priority areas of commissioning work. The lead commissioner for this area attends the meeting and addresses members of EEC on current progress, including how patients and members of the public have been involved and engaged in this work and most importantly, what changes have occurred as a result of this involvement. Members of EEC are encouraged to ask questions and ensure patient and public involvement is robust and central to each commissioning plan.
The following areas have been discussed at EEC. Please click on the following links for further information and to find out how each area has involved patients and members of the public in their commissioning work.
Children and Maternity
Community and End of Life
Learning Disabilities and Autism
Urgent and Emergency Care
If you have any suggestions on how you feel we can improve your involvement and engagement, please do not hesitate to contact us, thank you.
