Coronavirus: Zero Tolerance towards violent and aggressive behaviour

The NHS does not accept violent or aggressive behaviour towards our staff, NHS property or property of our staff.

Action will be taken towards any member of the public demonstrating unacceptable behaviour towards our staff, including violence and aggression. NHS staff should be able to come to work without fear of violence, abuse or harassment from members of the public, including patients or their relatives.

During the current COVD-19 situation, everyone is feeling worried, anxious and under stress. Our staff go to work to serve the people of Doncaster and expect to be able to do so in an environment which is free from violence and aggression. Please remember we are here to help you. Please help us provide the very best service we can.

We know the vast majority of our patients support us and appreciate our work and we thank you for your patience and understanding. Where we experience unacceptable behaviour, we will take action. The NHS has zero tolerance of unacceptable behaviour.

Please help us by staying at home – and we thank you for your continued understanding.
